McKenzie Watson-Fore is a writer, artist, and neighbor interested in the intersections of place, culture, and story. She’s based in Boulder, Colorado, and holds an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Pacific University. She writes about evangelicalism, relationships to people and place, and self-discovery. McKenzie participated in the inaugural cohort of the Anaphora Literary Arts Emerging Critics program. She writes personal essay, memoir, and criticism, and her work has been nominated for Best of the Net and Best American Essays 2024! McKenzie serves as the executive editor for sneaker wave magazine. She can usually be found drinking tea on her back porch.
